The Geismar PVP facility manufactures a diverse line of PVP products for the pharmaceutical industry.
Primary products include PVP-iodine and various Kollidon® excipients.
The plant is located within the Geismar chemical complex of BASF, giving it the advantage of backward integrated
raw material supplies. The plant operates according to current Good Manufacturing Practices, and an on-site,
fully equipped quality control laboratory certifies each batch. The technical capabilities of the facility are
backed up by strong support from BASF's operations in Europe.
